Concept Coffee Stops

Here are a few quirky cafe’s that I recommend you experience by sitting in and enjoying the unique atmosphere and of course the dark stuff… bring some friends along!

Coffeewerk +Press

A coffee snobs safe haven. This specialty coffee is made with precision and care. Not to mention upstairs is a quaint and rustic setting to chill and enjoy a cross of international and Irish artwork… Perfect for a Sunday afternoon!

The Jungle Café

One of my favourites. Somehow this café has successfully managed to be outdoors in the west of Ireland! But you are never cold with the heaters and blankets on each seat and safe from the rain with a cover over the seats at the back of the courtyard. Offering a delicious cup of coffee and yummy (mostly vegan) treats. Always a show stopper – great for when you have some visitors in town.

The secret Garden

An indulgence of calm, bliss and a sense of community. With cushions/ bean bags for chairs chairs, board games on the shelf (leave those phones in your bags!) and a warmth that oozes from all the staff members… this is the perfect café to make your local. Fair prices and an exciting range of teas too!

Cuppan Tae

This ones for all your inner granny and grandads. A take on a traditional Irish afternoon tea, with décor to match and china you’ll want to hold on to with dear life (cue a saucer smashing) . With mouth watering cakes and yummy breakies. Not to mention a perfect coffee. Bring all your American friends along – they’ll be in heaven.

Temporary Pleasure

This is a quirky, cool alternative to your usual café. Music lovers eat your heart out – you’ll not want to leave. A café and record shop all in one. Perfect for a first date (those awkward silences are filled with some quality sound!) And a lovely cupp’a coffee – lots of milk alternatives available too.

Let’s build something together.
